Are you sick of this sweltering heat and humidity? Are you sick of not seeing yourself in a video on the internet? Do you think that there is no reason to even try and go bouldering? WELL, THINK AGAIN! This sunday, and this sunday only, TEAM CRAGHEAD will be making a trip to the winter paridise of Horse Pens 40, AL to try and set some records -- FOR THE HOTTEST ASCENTS! we are going to try all the classics in this oppressive alabama august heat, and we are going to video it all (for evidence purposes... ok, and humor). So come out after noon (the hottest part of the day) and we'll see you there!

Little River Canyon Meetings
hey guys, this email just got forwarded to me, so i thought i would put it up here for all to see...
Hi everyone, Sandra Horne from the Little River Canyon National Park office just called to inform me of two upcoming public comment meetings. These meetings will seek public input into the park's final Recreation Management Plan. It is very important that we have a strong showing! All climbers who have a vested interest and love of Little River Canyon are encouraged to come.
August 30th - At the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce in downtown Centre, AL from 5:00pm til 8:00pm
Sept 1st - At the Dekalb County Tourist Association in Fort Payne, AL (at the intersection of I-59 and hwy 35, exit #218 off I-59) from 5:00pm til 8:00pm.
